Garmin 705 Cadence problem

Hi, My 705 stopped picking up the GSC10 ( cadence pick up ) It shows the red and green light when I push the reset button on the pick up and I put a new battery in it and the gps still picks up the heart monitor but not the cadence ??
any thoughts ********************????

When you change the GSC10 battery it needs to be re-paired with the 705.

Menu -> Settings -> ANT+Sport -> Accessories -> Cadence Sensor -> restart Scan

tried a second GSC10 and all is good with that one , so the original must be defected **********????

Cadence magnet is still properly positioned and the correct distance from the GSC10?

Yeah, it's junk. matter of fact, they are all fail sooner or later. They are not sealed very well and will get water in them. I bought a second one just for a spare.
