I've used a mirror attache to my helmet for years. I feel very vulnerable without it. I tried handle bar mirrors, but too much jiggle for me.

I have a handlebar mounted mirror. It occasionally gets knocked out of place but it's super easy to adjust. I like it.

I just bought this mirror and so far so good. It has an adjustable clamp which fits my oversize handlebars, and it has stayed in position on my cork bar tape in the dropout very well.
