I just got an email from Monkeylectric about their new smaller light:

I'm perfectly happy with my original model with more LEDs, so don't think I'll be getting the new smaller one.

I have had an original Monkey Light (Mega Monkey?) for several years and it is great. Dan Goldwater (founder) is a great guy and will be sending one to me to review on www.bikehacks.com.
