HRM that I can change the battery.

I'm looking for a entry level HRM that I can change the battery on myself. Sending them back to Polar is a hassle. Any suggestions? I have a Sigma for my bike but am looking for a single unit to use at the /gym and for rollerblading.

Thanks

after having issues with 2 of my polars I went to Suunto with no issues and the battery is easy to change - just uses cr2032 batteries.. I have used the T1C model, you can find some good deals on ebay.,.

I use a garmin HRM paired with my edge - it uses a CR2032 battery, easy to change, available everywhere.

The Trek/Bontrager ones also can be changed by the end user.

I have a Suunto as well - the t4c - and have changed the battery on both the watch and the strap a couple of times with no issues. Very happy with it. The t4c is out of production now, but they have several models.

I have a Sigma budget HRM I bought a couple years ago at Performance. I have been very happy with it and it's easy to change the batteries.

As a bonus it "talks" to the exercise equipment at my local YMCA.

I have a Suunto I've used for over 10 years. Straight forward to replace the batteries on the chest strap and "watch" portions.
