1990's era Vetta C300 Wireless Computer & Pick-up

I've had one of these on my road bike until recently when it popped out and was promptly run over before I had a chance to turn around and grab it. No biggie - I think I got my money's worth out of it.

But now as I look for a new one I'm wondering if I might be able to use the old pick-up with whatever new computer I pick up. Would I need to stick with Vetta or do all/most transmit the same basic signal? I've got a few bikes nowadays, so it would be nice to set up my new computer for use on a couple bikes. I do realize I should be able to pick up spare mounting kits so it's not a huge issue one way or the other.

FWIW, I found this about the C-300....

The C-300 is Vetta's, 7 function wireless unit. It uses a single-magnet, wheel sensor mounted on the front fork, and transmits to the computer head using low-powered, radio broadcast signals. The Transmitter is front wheel mounted and comes with mounting to fit up to a 1 1/4" diameter fork blade. The transmitter uses a E23A, MS21, or V23 12 volt camera battery.
