1000 lumen light?

lbs has i light they claim has 1000lumen that they also claim has battery life of 4hrs on high..

this lbs is the worst i ever saw so far so i doubt its 1000 lums but i know for sure that 4hrs x 1000 lums = no way..

so, who knows of a bike light w/ 1000 lums and maybe you know how long its rated

thnx

edit: nm bout this post.. i found what i suspected.. sorry

Battery probably means battery pack. 1000 lumens? If it's a single LED, it's a lie. But yeah, there are hundreds of lights out there and we are not able to mind meld with you or your lbs.

The lumens specs are often exaggerated. My headlight was advertised as 1000lm, but in reality it's somewhere around 450lm.

And why is that exactly. I can run 1,500 lumens for over 4 hours.

I'm sure there just re-selling a magicshine for max profit.. How much are they selling for?

borobike 03-18-12 06:00 PM

Sounds like a magicshine or clone. They do legitimately last for 4 hours on high at an advertised 1000 lumens or higher. It's not actually 1000 lumens but it is very bright and you'd be happy with it, assuming it is actually a magicshine or quality clone.
