Sigma 2209 Altitude Readings

I just got new Sigma 2209. I took a ride today and after I upload the results to Data Center it says my Uphill Altitude is 187 feet but it give nothing for Downhill Altitude. It a was short 7 mile ride mostly on city streets. The actual 2209 shows only a Altitude +/- reading. It was a +187 for this trip which matches the download info. I know my trip was not all uphill as I stopped as the same place I started.

What happens to the Downhill readings? Is it just reporting a net change figure between the up and down?
