Fenix LD 20 - Easy to mount as a bike light?
I'm going to buy this flash light - for around the house - but do want to know if it had a tube that will mount easily on a bike - are there specific accessories?

This is how I attach one to the handle bars and one to my helmet. I like seeing everything at night.
BTW, its on old inner tube.

Then I replaced it with a TwoFish LockBlock, and have been extremely happy. :-)

Second on the LockBlock. I used to have a road bike with a stem parallel to the ground, and used a block with the top and bottom oriented the same way. It freed up lots of space on my handlebars. Then I got a bike with a not-parallel stem, and got a LockBlock that's angled 90 degrees. I have to be more careful about tightening it down/aiming it, but it still works very well.

It was ratcheting, so it was a pain to point in just the right direction. Also, it couldn't be adjusted up and down easily without a lot of fiddling. Finally, since it's hard plastic with no shock absorption, it bounced all over when the bike was moving.

The original fenix mount was terrible - the one they sell now is very solid.. You only need a mount like this if you use a heavy light.. The new fenix mount will not work with 31.8 handlebars..

For the cheapos like me, here is an alternative..
Here is the Two Fish mount, off Amazon for $7 to $8, maybe shipping too.
Here are the Two Fish COPIES/KNOCK OFFS, I have been using for $2.25 each..Discounted when you order more than one. I just re-ordered 5 for $10.53 with free shipping.
They work perfectly.. even rigged one up to my helmet..
Here is one I mounted on my beater bike. That is a fat 26650 flashlight too. Much thicker in dia that most flashlights. The two fish copy handled it easily..
