[MegaHorn] Insert battery?

Hello,

Before I break it, I figured I should ask other MegaHorn users.

The device came with no instructions on how to insert a battery. I googled a bit for this, but found no infos: How should I open the case and insert a battery? Apparently, it takes a 9V battery.

First impressions match what I read:
  • the rubber band to secure the horn to the handlebar is likely to break within a few months. But since it'll get stolen if I leave it there while parked on the street, I'll strap it with whatchamacallits (couldn't find the English word for those) on the bottom of the panier and hope for the best. Just as well the case is black, so doesn't attract too much attention
  • it's unfortunate that the maker of this device chose a sound pattern that is so different from car horns that I don't expect car/truck drivers to pay attention. Besides, it's apparently not loud enough, especially compared to the AirZound
  • the button that triggers the MegaHorn seems better than the AirZound, but both come with no cap to avoid pressing it when carrying the device in a bagpack

With hundred's of millions of bicycles out there (a respectable number of them in rich-enough countries where people will spend a few ten's of $€ for a loud horn as a well-needed protection), I'm surprised no electronics engineer came up with a good solution (loud, car horn sound pattern, easy to trigger with hands on the handlebar, easy to install/remove from bike). Time for a Kickstarter or Kiva project :-)

Thank you.
