Possible Hotshot adversary.

Saw a blurb on fb about Nite Rider's new Solas 2 watt USB tail light. Very little info at the moment, as there is a glitch on their site- the product info is for the battery operated Stinger. But it has 2 steady and 2 flash modes and something they call 'Group Ride' mode.

I saw that too. It looks like they gave it the rippled beam-spreader lens like their Cherry Bomb has, which spreads the light horizontally. Given how many taillights I see aimed somewhat downward, I think an omnidirectional flood optic might've been better, but hey. When it comes out, I'll probably grab one and do some comparisons. My main distributor gives it an ETA of 8/31, so it could be a while.

Was that distributor QBP?

Also I really hope they use a mount that will work with a aero seatpost.
