Hi All
I have an old Sturmey Archer AG Front Dynamo, it works. My question is can i us it with a 20 inch wheel. I was thinking that on the small wheel it might burn out the lights? I have herd the tail that you could burn your lights out with to much speed , down a steep hill etc. Maybe this is a old wife's tail?

It was a problem with incandescent light bulbs. With modern LED lights, not a problem.

Thanks for the information about the magnet de magnetizing, I will reframe from taking it apart. The keeper sounds like a comic book hero. Thanks also for the led knowledge, I will be going led. Cat eye or B + M lights for the job. The bike will be another frankenstein cargo bike 20 inch front wheel front load rack attached to head tube not fork.
