The lesser 2600 Lumen one is on Amazon for $749. Go here:
https://www.amazon.com/Lupine-Lightin...Betty+R+Lupine
Wouldn't it be cheaper to jump over to Framebuilders/Sources Forum and get leads on an Acetylene brazing setup ]

3600 Lumens Betty R Lupine?
Google has a long list of pointers returned... top one has the OEM in Germany and says its available.
If no sources show up for USA dealers, might want to call Peter Whites shop and he seems to be in close sync with things going on in Germany, especially if its lighting related.

God I wish I had the money for one of these lights......
Some of the DIY light projects on the MTBR forum are seemingly just as bright as any DiNotte or Lupine.
Besides the fun of DIY, is it significantly cheaper to build such powerful lights? Would it be possible to create a light that is 2500+ lumens for less than $200?

The Lupine NA distributor?

I personally have a few issues with those lights. The concept of pushing 40 watts of power through a light assembly that only weighs 150 grams (light engine, lens and body) just doesn't make sense to me. That central LED in particular has very poor cooling. Just as a comparison, only the heatsink in a 40W commercial LED downlight fixture typically weighs 350g.
And I would have thought that with all the other electronic wizardry they came up with (wireless and programmable controls) that it would have been a simple matter to build in protective circuitry to completely avoid overdischarging the battery. Nope.
