Knog Blinder 4V question
 

I bought a Knog Blinder 4V and love the light. The problem I have, is after one week the rubber strap has split. Has anyone had this problem and have any solutions. It is a great rear light but I question having a rubber strap with a metal clasp. Knog has said they would replace it, but I think it would just be a matter of time before it split again. Thanks for any input or suggestions!
