Fork Mounted light Thing??

Has anyone had any experience with a fork mounted headlight? I thought I saw some type of item that would mount to the side of the fork.
Thanks!

I have (sorta) fork-mounted lights, but since I have remote handlebars, I just put them on top of the headset. The lower you mount them (closer to the road being lower), the more complaints you may receive about how bright they are in the eyes of on-coming cyclists when using a MUP, unless the beam pattern is well shaped.

Depending on the type of light you have, you can just use
some rubber bands. That's what I did with this light I was
testing:

Fork mounted lights are pretty nice, they really do show up potholes and rough roads better than bar mounted lights. Mounting is pretty much standard with dyno powered lights.

There are a couple different kinds of mounts for battery powered lights. One kind screws into a rack mounts (mid-fork or fork dropout). The other kind tightens to the middle of the fork; I understand you need to check this so the light doesn't slide down the fork and jam the front wheel.

I have a light (Supernova E3) mounted mid-fork. Does a great job of illuminating the road in front of me.

Are you looking for one of these? They can be found on Amazon.

I've got one of these on the right front fork leg of my road bike (had another on left side, but the elastic strap broke). It's just a light to be seen with, not to see with.
