Luxos U in Stock
 

Those of you waiting for Luxos U lights with USB power chargers for your dynamo setups will be happy to hear that they are now in stock again. I got several notifications from vendors today in Europe....

Thanks for the update, but unfortunately, it's the usual "available just in time for something better to be just on the horizon".

Now the brightness level might be deceptive - it's easy to accidentally make one look brighter with a camera than the other. But it looks like a slightly wider and much more even beam pattern.

From his site -
"This headlight uses Busch & Müller's new IQ Premium reflector, which will be used in their new IQ Premium Cyo and IQ Premium Fly RT headlights. I'll have those new headlights in early November, and the production Edelux II by late December. I expect the beams to all be quite similar, with only slight differences in brightness; too small to be really noticeable while riding."

Peter says they will be in-stock in the US this Month.. too.. to ship to Your LBS.


Wondering how long that U Light plug, to USB connector patch cord is..

it's too long, how long to you want it to be. The nicest feature of the usb plug/push button is that you can flash people with your "brights"

I was going to get one, but I've heard they're not very reliable.
