Tablets-Still trying to understand

My newest questions about tablets are:
Can I create routes on RideWithGPS and download to my Garmin?
Can I download pictures from my camera?
Your help is so appreciated!

I don't know that this is true. Once you have the file on your computer, you can do a manual (file) upload to Garmin and this should work pretty well from an android device (and maybe from iOS, too). I have not tried this myself...

How do you propose garmin connect with android and or iPad either I guess by transferring into a microsd then manually transferring still can't see how iOS would handle that

You can hook the Garmin up to an Android tablet and see it using a file browser. Then go to connect.garmin.com and when you click upload, select manual, select the file and voila.

This may not work as easily on an (unrooted) iOS device.

Added: For android, there are apps to do exactly this.

Yes. You can use and Android tablet and even a phone to create routes on a website and download them to your Garmin. You can also upload rides from the Garmin to GC or other websites using the Android device. This is done by simply copying/moving files. You will need a host adapter ($1 cable) for a phone and may need one for an Android tablet. I do it with my Galaxy S4 phone. I used to do it with RWGPS but a month or two ago they updated their website layout and now it's all screwed on on the phone browsers (all three I tried). RWGPS support say they intend to fix it.
