niterider I lost the mount
 

I cannot find the handlebar mount for the thing any good homemade solutions or do I need to drop the $16.00 large for new one....system is 15 yrs old and works. Can I replace old lead battery with newer lighterone? what is the life spand of said battery that is almost never used....:thumb:

$16.00 large? Large usually denotes $1000, as in 16 large = $16,000. Anyway, got any pix of the mount you're looking for? Yes, you can use a differnt type of battery but it's usually not straightforward. Modern LED lights with Li Ion batteries are so good and reasonably priced that it usually doesn't make sense to try to rejuvenate stone-age lighting systems.
