Does it work on presta valves? 100 psi max should be good for most, but going over 100 psi isn't uncommon on road bikes. Looks like it displays in four different units rather than has four ranges. I imagine the actual pressure range is the same indendent of units displayed.

With presta valves on road bikes, I've never tried a separate gauge that I could get to work reliably without letting out a significant amount of air.

I don't carry a pressure gauge. In fact, I don't own a presta valve gauge, other than the gauges built into my floor pumps. (I own several floor pumps.) I won't claim that my thumbs are well calibrated, but well enough to get me home if I have to inflate on the road. Most pumps aren't even strong enough to give me the pressure I use when I pump at home, so I quit when I've pumped all I can.

I've been trusting the gauges in my floor pumps. Is that a mistake?

Beto/Panasonic/Price Point is an excellent pressure gauge that does not let nearly any air out and it is given away nearly for free! I've got 3 of those, just in case:).

A gauge that only went to 100psi would be useless to me.

The four measurement ranges: PSI: 0 - 100, Bar: 0 - 7, KPA: 0-700, Kgf/cm2: 0-7. I'm not familiar with presta valves.
