Could this GPS device really work with my ebike?

I have been exploring this option for a while. I suspect it connects to my battery. There is a small enclosed area under the battery and it could fit under there. I have dismantled that part of my bike as the kick stand i used to have was bolted in there. It broke ages ago now i have a kickstand on the back of the bicycle
