Cateye Stealth 50 problems

Hey all
I like the unit, but I have quite a bit of issues downloading my trip data.
Please see attached screenshot which is the most common error I get.
Has anybody come across a solution?

I guess I'm the only person on the planet with such an issue..

Well, Cateye US has responded very quickly, and without any hassle, or even me ASKING for it, sent me a replacement.
Will post if the new unit works better once I get it.
