What is your favorite USB rechargeable bike computer? And why?
Hello all,
What is your favorite USB rechargeable bike computer? And why? RH |
If it's GPS capable, it's a Garmin 500. For non-GPS bike computers, a Li coin cell lasts so long being rechargeable isn't worthwhile, IMO, and I'm not aware of any being available, though there may be a few.
Also with GPS based computers, people most use wheel/cadence sensors and HRM straps which rely on Li coin cells anyway. |
My iPhone, with a Wahoo RFLKT on the handlebars.

My Garmin 500. The why is simple, I own it and it works great. HRM, cadence and speed are native, GPS enabled with the ability to display all of the relevant data that I like to see while riding.

My main thing is that I want something that I can download ride data.

I really like my Garmin Edge 200. It runs for two or three days of rides between charges. I connect it to my computer with USB, and it automatically uploads tons of data -- more than I could want -- to the Garmin web site. Ooh, pretty graphs!

Garnin edge 500. Because of its size and simplicity and accuracy with GPS. At the end of each rise I just plug it in, upload the data, and recharger it. Has HR monitor and cadence as well.
