Replacement for Cateye Astrale 8

I recently placed an order for a Cateye Astrale 8. However the order was cancelled due to lack of stock, even though the amazon ad is still up.

Amazon.com : Cateye CC-CD200 Astrale 8-Function Bicycle Computer : Sports & Outdoors

I want a WIRED bike computer with cadence that has a switchable main display between cadence and speed. Many of the cadence computers can only display cadence on the main display, and it's not switchable.

Also, I don't want any of that smart crap. It's ridiculous to buy essentially a smartphone for my bike...

By a strange coincidence, I was browsing through my LBS on Saturday (they still have the Astrale in stock!). They also had a Sigma 16.12 (IIRC) with cadence there that was wired. Sorry, I don't know the specifics of what the display shows, but it was a larger head unit than the Astrale.

No worries. I found the equivalent cateye. Some people said that it "only displayed cadence" in the main display, but the picture on cateye's website clearly shows it displaying speed. I think it was more of a "user didn't know how to change the display" type of thing. I remember it being hard on MY Astrale. I never understood the wireless computers... More batteries to change and more expensive all for a little convenience in installation? Not to mention possible interference with other computers...

I just did a bunch of research on this when my cateye enduro 8 gave up the ghost and the only replacement I could find came from Japan at an exorbitant cost. The cateye padrone looks good but it doesn't have cadence I believe. I ended up getting a GSP enabled cateye (the stealth 50). It's great not having wires; it's even greater being able to switch the bike between different computers without worrying about calibrating the computer.
