Info for bike touring Barcelona to Granada?

Hoping to find someone who has suggestions or experience in the following:
Barcelona, Spain: good bike shops or other places to find a servicable used bike suitable for touring?
Barcelona to Granda - suggested routes with focus on Mediterrean saving hills for the end!
Barcelona - good hostels to stay for initial orientation to city, preference in town but quitier rather than busier
I am not sure I am in the right place to post this request, as I am brand new. Please help steer me to the appropriate place.
Oh yes, I am arriving in Barcelona on 10/20/09 flying from my home in Portalnd, Oregon. it looks like it is just too expensive to pay the extra handling to bring my bike with me for just 3 weeks.
