Bike Museums and Collections for the traveller?

I have always been interested in the bikes of the past and can spend hours looking at them.
I will be in France & Belgium in July for the 2013 TDF...Does anyone have recommendations for bike museums, bike clubs with collections available for the average tourist to view? I can usually only see rare and collectible bikes on eBay, I would like to ogle in person! Thank you in advanced.
