DIY fatbike mud guards
I was planning to order some PDW mud shovels since they aren't expensive, but given that winter opens up to some free time. I'd like to make a few for fun. Planning to use reflector brackets for the the rear and just zip ties for the front. Anyone done this, care to share some advice such as what type of plastic to use or designs?

I had a good idea for fender material last year.
Its gone right now but will reappear when the air clears.
I do like your idea about using a reflector bracket.

O.K. the brain blockage has partially loosened.🤗😀🤗
Your mentioning mud buckets like the ones below helped clear the air.😉
I was thinking of using polypropolyne windshield washer jug plastic as fender material. Its a little thin so you may have to layer it. Three thicknesses to two thicknesses to one. You may even be able to do two to two to one thickness.
A very good pair of scissors or a utility knife will cut it. If you get it to the right temperature you can make a mold and add a nice curve into it too. Angles would take some practice methinks. Dirt cheap, light and if one does break its easily replaced.
