Well, I succumbed to my bike addiction and came home with a new bike today. In my defense, I did work out a good deal on it, and I am selling off one of my other bikes to lessen the blow on this one. It is a 2015 GT Grade Carbon 105. It falls in the adventure road/gravel bike category. If nothing else,it should be just a fun bike to ride. I'm getting back to what made cycling fun to me in the first place, which is exploring new places. This bike seemed to fit the bill the best from what I could find. I did get in my first ride in today, which mostly confirmed I made the right choice. The only detractor on the ride is I also got bit/nipped by a dog for the first time in my life. Anyway, I am going to make a couple of adjustments and take it on a 50-65 mile ride on Sunday to dial it in more, and maybe find a new road to ride.

Very nice! You're going to have a lot of fun going all the places a bike like that can take you.
