I've done the ride about 10 times. I am considering signing up today. It has 1-2 days in the mountains with "gentle" climbs. I've walked a couple--especially when I had only cycled a couple of hundred miles for the year. Then rolling hills with pine trees, then flat areas, then the ocean. It is a nice way to extend the summer. One year it rained 5 of the 7 days, but it is usually great weather, not too hot, not too cold. I usually sign up for the breakfast meal and go into town using the shuttles for dinner. They usually have some type of entertainment each night.
