New Bike - Diamondback Century Disc

I went to Performance Bike in search of a Sportif for casual riding around farmland in Mid Ohio. Well, they did not have the model I wanted in my size (58 to 60 cm). I found a Diamondback Century Disc. I would rather have center-pulls and the Sora derailleurs would not be my first choice, but, the price was really great and I wanted a road bike for this weekend. They have a big sale going on right now. So... I was determined to find a good deal on a decent bike. As pictured.... 23 pounds.

Is that with the water bottles full or empty :-)? Great looking bike and getting it at the right time if your weather is anything like what we've had this weekend (Michigan). I think you'll be happy with the disc brakes and the 700x28 tires will help it roll smoothly, which is always nice with an aluminum frame.

I have a 2015 (14?) Century Sport Disc and like it quite a bit.

That's with the water bottles empty. I will be adding a rack to the back and a bag in order to pack along a camera, Pearl Izumi Barrier jacket, pump, extra tube, flat tools, and a few emergency tools-- just in case.

We had 64 degrees Saturday and 55 Sunday. I rode both days. This week, predictions are for 60+ degree temperatures for the entire week. I plan to ride a bit every day. I want to get my legs back in prime riding condition for spring.
