Pics from last day of Ride the Rockies
RtR 2017 done. Great 66 mile ride over Monarch Pass at 11,300'. Mosquitoes were using me for breakfast on the climb but couldn't keep up on the descent as I hit 50+ mph.
I felt awful riding over to Monarch. Grabbed a coke and hit a portajohn and I felt like new. I don't drink many cokes but they have saved me over and over again.
Now on to Bike Tour Colorado.

Congrats!
I'm seriously thinking about doing this next year. Did you camp or use motels during the ride?

You da Man!
I'm seriously envious of your long ride endeavors. Last years' cross-country ride, and this year riding in Colorado...
Big Thumbs Up!

Congrats. Monarch is definitely on my "to do" list. Have fun at the BTC. Hang around a little longer and you can do the Double Triple Bypass :-)

We usually Camp outdoors but this year my brother and I shared a hotel room for two nights in Durango. It's generally great sleeping weather for camping. Typically on high school fields of nice grass. Just use earplugs!! You'd love the experience.
