Pics from Day 2 BTC
I did the 30 mile ride from Antonito to Alamosa early this morning. I felt tired but did a low HR high cadence ride averaging 20 mph. There were other options to do longer loops but with several long days ahead I listened to my body and stopped at 30 miles. Proper recovery is underestimating and extremely important.
So, I rode my bike over to a golf course and enjoyed my other hobby. Rental clubs were hysterical but I made do. For some reason I chose to walk instead of using a cart???
Afterwards I enjoyed carbo loading at the local Brew Pub with a smooth Amber Ale. Back to an 80-90 miler tomorrow!!!
