Can not address a reverse because mine was traditional total joint replacement but my ortho, 10+ years with Cincinnati Reds, said 2 days after surgery. Due to being a little chicken hearted, I waited 3 days and went for a ride. My surgeon was the only one out of 3 I consulted who gave me this great recovery time prediction.

Good luck.

Why not ask your surgeon?

I had a full replacement (not reverse), and my doc insisted I wait 3 months, which I think was 2.5 months after I started PT. I sort of wish I had known about OldTryGuy's surgeon, though having the surgery done far from home would have added complications and cost....

Had a trs done 1 yr ago. The dr said I could ride as long as there was no pain after 4 wk checkup. Your surgery may have been different so Check with your Dr. for an official opinion.
