NC Mountains to Coast Tour 2019

The annual week long supported tour was announced last night. The route changes each year. The route goes through an area I regularly ride. I’ve ridden the tour before and will probably sign up for this one. It’s well supported.

My wife and I rode it on our tandem 2 years ago. Last year was perfect weather and I was registered to ride but had broken my hip the month before.

Anyone interested in doing it?

I did it in 2001. The food vendor failed spectacularly and the tour operators didn't consider it their problem. I guess the take-away for me was, if I ever go again, don't buy the food plan. Have fun!
