@Loose Chain
I raced a GLX84 just like that, same color and all so I have a soft spot for them. I agree that they are just competent as any other SLX bike I currently own or have ever ridden. That is one nice bike; is it a 58cm?

I have sustained more injuries and more serious injuries on bicycles including a broken femur and hip and ensuing stroke that nearly finished me and took nearly three years to recover. This as both a life long cyclist and motorcyclist (not a biker!) and racer of both on and off road. But, I agree the potential is higher for the motor powered variety of two wheeler.
