At 58 I finally hit 1k. Probably will hit close to 2k this year if I can stay healthy

I just rolled over 1000 miles for the year yesterday, finally. I tried for the last 3 years to get back on the bike and log some decent miles, but I just couldn't make it happen. This year, I can't wait to get back out on the road.

How about that! I, too just rolled over 1000 miles for the year this morning. Health and weather made things difficult in the early spring. Keep rolling the miles my friend!

I passed 3200 mi recently, which is about 500 more than a year ago. Being retired as of 1/1/19 has made it easier to ride more.

I ride until late fall, and then hit the trainer for some Zwifting. I used to ride nights, but the traffic has increased in the last few years, and I just don't feel safe any more. So...Zwift. Which is really good.

Congratz on 1000 miles ! You made me look at my Strava, 1,563.9 km so far for 2019. Thats 30 miles short of 1000 and I did not even realize it. I would drop everything and go finish them right now but its pouring rain lol.
