Cycle NC Day 5
 

Cycle NC Day 5. A rather mundane 80 miler from Clayton to Greenville, NC. Just what we needed after all the excitement from yesterday! Pretty flat and a nice helping breeze most of the way. In fact it should be very flat from here to the coast. What a diverse state NC is.

It was the highest temperature by several degrees over the history of Cycle NC.

Probably one of the warmest days I’ve ever camped in!

On to New Bern tomorrow!! Hopefully cooler from the breezes in New Bern.

Tough luck drawing the last (hopefully) really hot week of the fall for the tour, but hey no rain :)
