Bought this cyclocross bike 6 years ago. Too stiff front end for my kind of riding so when I crashed it and wrecked the left Di2 shifter I put it away . Got a new briefter and found a nice 650 wheelset at 80 % discount so now I have a nice 21 pound gravelgrinder. Still stiff up front but way better with 47 mm tires than with 32. Warm weather now so I could take it for a spin without studded tires. Looking forward to spring and summer!

How’s the tire selection? I have recently dove into the 27.5 pond looking for a tubular cyclocross tire to stretch over the wood rims of a 1890’s bike. Until then, this size of tire and the 650b/27.5 wasn’t on my radar.

Cool bike! And I amen your shout out for spring (though it’s January).

The tire selection is a lot greater now than ten years ago. I like the tires made by Panaracer and distributed by René Herse, www..renehersecycles.com But there are others as well.

Those must be 650B wheels as 650C tires larger than 23-25mm are said to be practically non-existent.

21 pound gravel bike sounds like fun!
