50+ Bike, anyone?
I'm 63 but one of my bikes turns 50 this year. The frame is a chrome 1970 Raleigh Professional Mk.1 that I bought from a member of the Classic Rendezvous list last fall.

It's a mix of vintage and modern components that I've curated over the last few years for riding on paved and unpaved roads.
Drivetrain: 2x10, modern compact 48/34 Holdsworth crankset that resembles a drilled Campy, Tiagra front derailleur, Microshift rear derailleur, 11-32 cassette and brifters
Pedals: Shimano 520 SPD
Wheels: Vintage Mavic Module 3 rims with a first-generation Shimano 600 high-flange front hub and a new Sun XCD high-flange rear cassette hub
Tires: 700x35 Compass/Rene Herse Bon Jon Pass
Fenders: Velo Orange faceted
Brakes: VIntage Mafac Racer
Nitto Noodle bars, DiaCompe ENE stem, Brooks wrap
Vintage SR seat post, Brooks C17 Carved saddle
Nitto M18 front rack, Waxwing saddle wedge and Acorn Medium rando bag. I stripped the paint off one of my old Zefal HP pumps and polished it to match the chrome.
It rides beautifully and fits like I've always had it. It's mid-winter here in NYC but I'm looking forward to a great season on this 50-year old bike!

Stunning aesthetics with retro-mod drivetrain, bravo!

1969 Schwinn Heavy Duti . I’ve owned it for fifteen years , purchased from the original owner at a yardsale . The bike that got me back to ridding after my retirement.

I have only one prior to 1970.
Late 60’s Frejus with Huret Svelto rd, Huret fd + shifters, Universal brakes.
Went to buy the unusual crankset, left with f+f plus bits for a few $ more.
Pardon the project state of appearance, it’s an ongoing internal debate.

but I have several in their 40’s.

I’ll add this 64-year old. It’s been my commuter and is going to my son soon. I have a couple that will turn 60 next year, one of them will be my “new” commuter.

It’s odd that at least three chrome Mk.1s have recently surfaced. Very pleased with mine.

Banned.
I had a Peugeot PX10 that would have turned 50 this year in my garage if I hadn't given it away 20 years ago to a starving graduate student whose ad in the college newspaper offered up to $50 for a working bike. I didn't want any money for it, but he insisted on giving me a six-pack of Corona beer. All in all, it was a win-win trade.

I have two. One is my 1960 Olmo Gran Sport. I take that bike on an age appropriate ride and a beer run every year on or around my birthday (something north of 50 miles). The other is a Fuji Finest which I believe is from 1970 so it just turned 50. I took it on the Coppi ride last fall which had well north of 4,000 ft of climbing over a metric century. That triple came in handy,

My old Colnago would have turned 50 in the last year or two. Although, I've only had it for about 38 years.
It has seen a LOT of wear over the years, but it has served me well, and has been a real workhorse.

When I was in grade school, I had a bike that looked like this, in black, except it was called a Schwinn 'Typhoon' 2-speed coaster brake.
