I just started riding again after taking 6 or 7 years off the bike. I started riding in June when everything was shut down and I had a lot of extra time. I crashed on my dirt bike on July 4th and dislocated my shoulder, so I was off the bike for a few weeks. Once I got back on, I could only ride for 30 minutes or so without my shoulder hurting real bad. So, I put in close to 1000 miles in an abbreviated year. I think actual was 989. I hope to get in at least 3,000 in 2021 with a lot of that being on a mountain bike.

Retired, rode 8703.5 km in 2020 (5429.5 miles), 121,405 metres ascent (398310 feet); 80% of it on gravel roads on my gravel bike. It was my best year ever. With Covid-19 lockdowns, there wasn't much else to do besides ride and mow the lawn.
I'm now a 4 season cyclist, and I have 225.5 km so far in 2021, with 3547 m of ascent, all on snow and ice covered gravel roads with a couple of indoor rides on my Tacx trainer.

Ended the year with 2434 miles. That's the most I've managed since changing jobs a couple of years ago. Still working full time with kids at home.

4,795 miles in 2020, starting with the shutdowns in March (haven't been to the gym since then). 165 so far in 2021 (I dislike riding on a trainer more than riding in cold, but I still don't go too much in cold!). Also head to the mountains weekly to go hiking to diversify the workouts. My husband got his first vaccine last Wednesday - so it seems the end of the pandemic may be in sight, but I intend to keep riding a lot!

Still working; lost my motivation 2020 with the pandemic; no races/events planned. Took time off, so ended up with only 2K miles; normally I do 6-7K.
However, I'm not doing that to myself again, and am tying to build back the endurance distance again.
