Gee… it’s been a long time…
… since I’ve posted. 12 years. And note, here I am at the trendy age of 64 and riding again. Funny how life twists and turns.
i still have the bikes I rode all those years ago. A Giant FCR3 and a Raleigh Cadent Two Zero. Been riding the Giant. The Raleigh needs a lot of work.
Thinking about getting a Surley Long Haul Trucker. Just bought a Beach cruiser for my wife.
Anyway… it’s late.
talk to you all later.

Good to have ya back! As you realize, things have changed a LOT in 12 yrs, electronic shifting, cables run thru the frame (so it's more of a PIA to change them!), just to mention a few. Just one more year and you can join those of us in the 65+ forum! Time flies, unlike my speed on a bike!

Thank you! Hey, Freeranger, since I’m still riding my bikes from before the level of PIA is the same. I’m just a lot slower. Hoping to get back in shape as the miles roll by.
it does feel good to be riding again.

Resurrecting this post to say welcome back and I am in the same boat. No idea when my last post was before today, but will say I had not had a ride in about 13 years. Now starting up again as we are in an area that is more bike friendly.
Welcome back!

Good for you! Same boat here. I’d like to think people are returning because I just did, but I’m a narcissist and all that.
