Cardiologist discharged me!
Cardiologist discharged me today. After she scared the devil out of me 3 years ago... And, cleared me for whatever heart rate in exercise I can tolerate... I'm 58, and 140 pounds lighter than 3 years ago. Resting heart rate was 105 to 110, now 57 to 62... No more pills, not even gout meds!
I'm happy! Now to get this ankle fixed...

You’re definitely headed in the right direction! Hopefully for you it’s sustainable and your healthier habits will be the new norm. A resting heart rate 100+ wouldn’t have lasted very long!!! Glad the doc got your attention.
