I fell at a Stoplight on PCH on a Sunday with 20 riders waiting at a Stoplight in Huntington Beach. Just couldn’t unclip quick enough. Of course you always do it well before. Just once in 60 years. Everybody clapped. Tough crowd!

Doesn’t look like the road had anything to do with his fall. He gets his left foot out and leans to the left. Them looks like something on his right shoe gets snagged on the cage. He points his right foot down, causing his weight to shift to the right, resulting in the fall.

Probably the same snarky dumbells who think it is cute or funny, and laugh, clap or use dopey cryptic slang to reminisce with like thinking(?) comrades about accidental falls from a bicycle.

Meh. I can top that. I fell over while riding my Zwift rig.
In the middle of a workout, I needed to tip my fan up just a little, and was pretty sure I could just reach it without having to get off by bike. Ummm...yeah...I couldn't. As I toppled over, along came by bike and wheel-on trainer, and I was still clipped into my pedals. I ended up with my left leg trapped between my chainstay and the trainer frame. It f-ing hurt to the point where I thought I might have fractured my leg.

Think whoever looked over the bike he was riding should have removed the toe cages and perhaps installed some decent flats.. Not like he needed toe clips and doubt he has much time to ride a bike, so he may not have been familiar with getting his foot out of the "cage". Sure some even more familiar with toe clips have had the same thing happen. He deserves to be given a break on this, not ridicule.

Locking the thread for political undertones. We’ve said it all anyway.
