26 x 1.9" Vee Rubber VRB 065 tires for my comfort bike. Are they OK.
I only bought them because that's all that's available at the 2 bike shops I checked out and I want to change them when I put my new chain on. Changing tires on this bike with the chain on is a PIA. I never heard of Vee Rubber tires and would not normally even consider them.
Apparently they use a 22 TPI casing, Which is obserdity low, But they look all right.

If that's all you can get then why prejudice yourself with the opinions of others? Just ride them and see how they perform for you.

I mounted them yesterday. They are hard to mount, very tight, but better to be tight then too loose I suppose.
I only went for a short ride, But they are better riding then the cheap Kenda tires that came with the bike. Otherwise they seem OK for my application.

If they fit inside the frame and you can get the brake calipers around them, go for it.
