78, just had a 2-wire pacemaker installed 5 days ago. Seems to work really well. I have a bifascicular block. I've gotten really out of shape because it took the docs 10 months to diagnose it. I did a 3 mile neighborhood walk today, 2 minutes off my PR. Looking forward to getting back on the bike, though it'll probably be a month or two before I'm cleared to ride outside..

Well into my eighth decade now, just got back into biking this spring. Been on amlodipine + benazipril & rosuvastatin since a 'mild' infarction on the way to work back early in '06 saw me getting two stents after I stopped at an ER on the way to the office at 7 AM....
I'm more careful with my diet now, water consumption. BP well-regulated by the meds, BPM peaking ~ 155 when I'm standing on the pedals going uphill from time to time, more often sustaining 120 - 125 at a steady but comfortable pace while riding.
My mantra's been 'don't stop moving' for maybe four decades now after watching how folks I loved fell into decline after an illness or retirement took its toll.

Mines about the same 155 or so. Taking it easy I have a hard time keeping mine at 130 or a little over. I’ll be 83 this month.
I keep thinking about a new bike, but I don’t really need anything . Wants and needs I guess.
