Louisville, Ky- 70 & older
I'm not sure I will be allowed to post this here, but I'm going to try...Here is Louisville there are several cycling groups, but most of the cyclists are younger therefore faster than most of us older riders. So, I'm looking to find some ride buds (male and female) who are older- say 65 and older and not so fast. I'm 78 and ride at a pace of 10 to 12 mph. So if you fall into that category described above and are interested in riding, make yourself known.

Not familiar with any groups like you describe in the L'ville area. I'm a solo rider so really haven't looked though. Most of the seniors I've seen are now riding electric motor powered bikes and are not riding 10-12mph! Never ridden with them, but there is a group just across the river in Indiana with a group that goes by "Slow Spokes". Maybe you could contact them for more info: Southern Indiana Wheelmen Association, Inc. (siwheelmen.org)

Have you ask around the bike shops in your area? The bike shops here try to organize weekly rides or even twice weekly rides. Sometimes they die out as interest and participation wanes and then take a while to get started again. Maybe if you help do the organizing for them and can start the ride from that shop, they might help you get the word out to others.
