Starting September right ... sort of ....
We've been traveling, and just got the bikes back from the shop (since we were gone, we had some needed work done). My wife is out of town, but I decided I would take my nice new tires and freshly replaced cables for a quick solo sprint spin during the late afternoon. Great ride, and averaged about 5 mph faster than when the two of us ride together.
BUT ... I managed to grab HER Garmin instead of mine. She set a number of PRs on our regular route today .... :-)

Yes. Unfortunately, had to take the cat to the ER tomorrow, and the weather is looking iffy even into early next week.
I need to start off in a controlled environment with no traffic. I was going to go camping for two nights starting Sunday and ride a wide rail-trail on Monday. During the week it should ne practically empty this time of year. But storms are predicted for Sunday, which will likely make the campground muddy, and the trail might not be fully dry by Monday because it's still supposed to be very humid. Maybe the following week.
On the bright side, I will get to watch my first Eagles opening game in many years. I have usually been out on tour at that time. 2015 is possibly the last time I saw an opener.
