Goals for 2025 -- to remain alive to ride---- It's approaching 2AM as I reply and have *ROWDY* - my Red RANS V-squared Recumbent electrified with multiple lights + bell + PEPPER GEL spray + a RYOBI tire inflation station awaiting my mounting for another post Midnight Madness Ride. Prostate Cancer and bike crashes have taken a serious toll on my biking abilities and to simply remain alive and getting out to ride is #1. NO LONGER possible are rides like Six Gap Century, Cross Florida 170 miler with required First 100 Miles without stopping and under 5 hours, 140.6 Ironman, Double Age Birthday Rides (74yo now), 100 mile overnight FULL MOON and NEW MOON rides per month. Yesterday's 39.93 miler took 3 hours and was a SOLO KILLER but I am recovered enough to get going for an Under a 74.5% Waning Gibbous Moon 20+ miler so Adieu for now. :thumb: |

not a Nova - but the 70 Chevelle pictured below was a factory L78 396/375
the 69 Hurst Olds had a W30 ‘stick cam’ - I had it installed when the engine was rebuilt … (also installed high-stall converter due to the overlap / lopey idle / low vacuum at idle ) the 69 GTO Judge pictured below was a Ram Air III - at one point he also had it in Ram Air IV trim (Ram Air IV heads, manifolds) https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...514b19340.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a10ad4c46.jpeg ok … apologize / enuff … back to bikes … 2025 goals … |

As a procrastinator,..... - give me a year - I promise to set goals consistent with the year's other realities, which seem to predominate going forward. :50:
One goal for sure - convert some of the PNW gray misty days to sunnier, but not hottier. Year round. Stay young; no wait.... get younger. More Dylan. Acquire an unknown brand from the Low Countries. 60cm with some patina. |

I have planned relatively short day and breaking up the two hardest climbs. Hope camping at altitude doesn’t come back to bite me. :D |
No real "goals" per se, other than riding as much if not more than I did this year.
I guess Buying A House With A Big Garage So I Have Room For More Bikes is a goal, no? Be nice if that happened in '25. |

I'll be 64 y/o in a few years so I need to start planning. :D |
I'm signed up and paid for London Edinburgh London in August, with completing as a goal. Getting to the start line 20lbs lighter than today's weight is another.
This week I signed up as interested, in the Space Needle to Golden Gate Bridge self supported 1700km brevet in September. 60k feet of climbing. Frickin insane. Everything else will be prep for those. Perhaps I should see a shrink. It would hurt less. |

lots of things aside from 'riding'.
but I really would like to find new homes for so many bikes I just never seem to find enough time for - riding. hence more riding , less maintenance... find Adventure whenever, wherever, and whatever find Joy and Love in every day, and riding always gives a good chunk of that. Be the best I can, for those and everything I hold very close. ...that pretty much covers it Ride On Yuri |

My goals are all negatives:
1) No new bikes 2) No illnesses 3) No injuries 4) No eBike |

Riding goals:
The full 100 miles on Skyline drive Ride around Tucson, climb Mt Lemmon, 6k+ miles Fitness goals maintain 175#s 300w FTP. Same fitness goals as last year, never did reach them. |
A couple more century rides-I only did 2 last year, and those were back-to-back flat rides on a now-cancelled tour.
Find a multi day ride. So many are getting cancelled. Drink more beer. That aligns nicely with goals #1 and #2. |
