Stuart, FL

Anyone know of an over 50’s club in the Stuart, FL area?

Probably better to start a new thread than resurrect a 14 year old one.

Not sure any Clubs or cycling routes that far away from Seattle, but go visit the community Senior Center. Treasure Coast Cycling seems to be in your area, check them - if you want a cycling club big enough for a separate 50+.

Butt, ... I got the bike for 'ya. Tho' not brazed in Florida.

The big cycling clubs here seem to have a majority of their active riders as 50plus y.o. people. You might be hard pressed to find a exclusive club for young cyclist. The locals that frequent the bike shops there should know.

Treasure Coast Cycling Association is mostly 50+ riders. I’m a member.

There are lots of 50+ riders out of Treasure Coast Cycle Werks bike shop on US 1 in Port St. Lucie.

i don’t know if any exclusively 50+ cycling clubs in the area.

Been there a few times, I think most of Stuart is 50+, especially in the winter.

Another town named Stuart?! I asked the Googlizer about places named “Stuart” and found there are 11 of them in the world. Ten of them are in the US and I’ve been to 3 of them. I’ve been to the one in Iowa and the one in Nebraska. The one in Iowa has all kinds of stuff named “Stuart”. The Stuart town hall, the Stuart Scoop (ice cream), Stuart Appliances, Stuart Bowl and Traditions Sports Bar, etc. I was disappointed that the local propane provider didn’t have the name “Stuart Gas”

I discovered that I had been to the one in Colorado but I can be excused for not knowing that I’d been there. It’s way out on the eastern plains (almost to Kansas) where only weird people like me goes. It’s also only a grain elevator and a house.

I’ve also been through the one in California on a drive from LA to San Diego although I also didn’t know it at the time.

I guess I need to go visit the other 6 in the US since I’ve already visited 40% of them
