speedplay frogs
After years of riding with platform pedals and toe straps, I treated myself to a set of frogs coupled with some shimano m80's. Went with the frogs because I wanted the 20 degrees of float. Just got back from a 30 mile ride to include a couple of fair sized hills. I stopped once to tweak a cleat and I'm a convert-loved them! New shoes, new cleats, think I'll go ahead and buy that brooks saddle I've been looking at as well as a new bike computer. I'm currently using an old sachs-huret mechanical odometer. Off topic also have a new cat-"Goliath"- makes it hard to use the computer, he keeps chasing the mouse!

I really like the Frogs, too. I started using them on my recumbent, and now I've got them on my commuter. Still have Looks on the Merckx, though.

Frog pedals are great. The only bad thing is once you try 'em, it gets real expensive to outfit the rest of your bikes with them.

You should save it for the "Antiques Road Show." You might become a millionaire.

It is getting retired today and being replaced with an Astrale 8 bike computer. It will, however, receive a place of honor in my office.
