Great thread. The two things that surprised me the most about cycling were:

1. How good I started feeling all the time.

2. How much fun cycling still was.

The above posts confirm that most worries pale into insignificance when problems with health arise. When young we never have to give a thought to this and with the arrogance of youth think we are immortal. It's only when our health problems accumulate that we understand how important good health really is.

I'm 40, not young, but i know my health matters more than everything else I own

just a little :beer: on the weekends :)

A couple inspirational stories to read. My story is way too long to post on this thread, so I will get it written and post a link to my webspace. Only a few people know what I have gone through medically, but hopefully it will inspire someone in poor health.
