Bicycle rental in the Bay Area

Greetings,

My job will place me in the Bay Area of California (Hayward) around Memorial day. Is anyone aware of a place where I can rent a decent bike for 2 weeks duration? During that time I would commute to work, about 5 miles and site see the Bay Area's bike paths. I would also check out the path that heads down to Monterey Bay.

Or how difficult is it to have one of my bikes shipped? (Specialized Stumpjumper and Sequoia)

Thanks, Tom......

There are companies that specialize in shipping bikes:but your best bet is to simply call your LBS and see if they'll pack and ship it for you (for a charge, of course), and then, since you'll have the packing stuff at your hotel, you can repack it yourself, and haul it down to UPS.

They also have online ride listings
